Missouri American Water Rate Case

Missouri American Water has filed a rate case seeking an increase in wholesale water rates. Because PWSD #1 of DeKalb County purchases water from Missouri American Water, any approved increase could affect the district's operating costs and may impact future customer rates.

To help protect the interests of the district and its customers, PWSD #1 has retained legal counsel to participate in the rate case proceedings and advocate for minimizing any impact on our customers.

We will continue to monitor the case closely and provide updates as additional information becomes available.
